Senior Pastor

Roger Hjelle

Reverend Roger Hjelle came to Good Shepherd in August of 1998. His previous parishes were Good Shepherd Lutheran in Viroqua, Wisconsin, and the Ridgeway Lutheran Parish of Ridgeway, Iowa.  
 
Reverend Hjelle and his wife, Luanne, are both graduates of Luther College, Decorah, Iowa. Hjelle received his Master of Divinity degree from Luther Theological Seminary, and his Master of Science in Educational Media from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.  
 
Luanne Hjelle is a retired Elementary teacher. Roger and Luanne have three children and seven grandchildren.
